Dzhevid Mahmud comes from Bulgaria, where he acquired his Master of Laws from Chernorizets Hrabar University. He later graduated as Master of Public Policies from the Central European University. Prior to joining OSA, he had been a Legal Trainee at the European Roma Rights Centre, and Data Specialist for the Roma Education Fund. He has been awarded a Professional Fellowship by the United States Department of State for civic engagement and has been leading the New Professional Program of the International Council on Archives for a year. Dzhevid joined OSA in 2014 and he is currently an Assistant Archivist and Manager of the Roma Digital Repository Project.
