Vera and Donald Blinken Open Society Archives
Perica Jovchevski is a PhD student at the CEU Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy and International Relations, specializing in social and political philosophy. He joined Blinken OSA as an Assistant Archivist in 2015, working within the Human Rights Program on the Yugoslav Archive Project. He has been engaged in the monitoring of television channels from the former Yugoslavia and the successor countries, the processing of audio materials from the UN Commission of Experts on the Yugoslav Wars as well as with textual files from the Open Media Research Institute belonging to the Yugoslav Collection.
Perica’s areas of interest include social, political and moral philosophy, archival theory and the history of former Yugoslavia and its successor countries. His research interest within archival theory covers the topics of archival knowledge formation, the epistemology of archival description, archival intervention and impartiality, archiving and transitional justice (in former Yugoslavia) as well as politics of memory (in the former Yugoslavia).
