Scope and content

The series consists of abstracts of correspondence between the members of the Executive Office of the Forced Migration Project (FMP), their partners from other organizations and institutions and state officials. It involves discussions of the projects which were implemented in the framework of FMP, meeting and travel arrangements, invitations, and reports made by the members and participants of certain FMP projects and missions. The records cover information on problems of forced migration principally in the former Soviet Union, and Yugoslavia, and aspects of prisoners’ custody in Guantanamo Bay (Cuba).
