Scope and content

The series consists of electronic publications that provide analyses of news in the countries of Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. Several briefs were issued each day on events of note in OMRI's region of coverage.

The publications were distributed by subscription to approximately 200 subscribers (1996) free of charge. All issues were also available through OMRI's website, which had 2280 readers in March 1996
