Scope and content

The series contains electronic files of the RFE/RL Research Institute publications RFE/RL Daily Report. It is a six-page digest of key developments in East European countries and the USSR, and after the latter's collapse in the former Soviet republics, published from 1987 to 1994.
The files were created at the Research Institute (Munich) and after its closure the electronic versions of the last years' publications were taken to the Open Media Research Institute (Prague) to support the new organization's activity. Publications from 1994 were also available on the OMRI's website.
