Scope and content

The series consists of 25-30-page bulletins that were prepared as topical clippings by the Moscow News Agency What Papers Say and collected at the Slavic, Baltic and Eurasian Archives of the Research Institute of RFE/RL (Munich, Germany). It covers such subjects as Banks and Exchange Today, Human Rights, Defense and Security, etc.

The materials were taken to Prague to support RFE/RL broadcasting and new topics to be covered by the WPS were added, which later made up another series.
