Scope and content

The series was created by the Monitoring staff of the RFE/Rl Research Institute during the period 1982-1994. It contains concise information on daily news reports and includes first pages (content pages) of Press Surveys, Soviet/Russian news agency reports and also Moscow radio (sometimes TV) programs.

Starting from 1992, Media Daily Highlights provides information on news reports from the FSU republics, including radio and TV monitoring.
