Archival history

The RFE/RL Research Institute was dissolved on 31 December 1994, and according to an agreement with the Open Society Institute-New York its archival holdings were moved to Open Society Archives (Budapest, Hungary). The more current records, from approximately the last five years, were transferred to the Open Media Research Institute (OMRI, 1994-1997) in Prague in order to support the Radios broadcasting. In some cases older materials were transferred as well.

Scope and content

The series contains the tables of content to the bulletins RFE Bulgarian Monitoring compiled by the Bulgarian Unit in 1983-1984.
