Scope and content
The subfonds contains clippings from Albanian, Yugoslav and foreign press, RFE/RL research papers, and excerpts from RFE/RL and Balkan countries radio broadcasting.
The issues most frequently monitored were those on politics, economics and social matters. Particularly extensive are files on the Albanian and Yugoslav economy and agriculture, communist parties and their relations with those of other countries, foreign relations and dissidents, and on Kosova.
Of special interest can be biographical files on Yugoslav government and communist party officials, prominent intellectuals and dissidents.Accruals Not expected

- HU OSA 205 Records of the Open Media Research Institute (OMRI), 1952-1997 (Some of the materials created at the Research Institute (Munich) has been taken to OMRI (Prague) in order to support broadcasting. The collection was actively used by analysts and special staff members was working on archiving current materials.)
