Scope and content

Contains reports and press clippings.

This series consists of research reports produced by the staff of the Hunagrian Research Unit. These shorter or longer reports and analyses deal with a great variety of topics from the economic and political life of Hungary. Just to mention some: agricultural cooperatives, industry, trade unions, abortion, writers and the cultural situation, the arrested social democrat leaders, and the 1956 Hungarian Revolution.

From January 1972 the Unit started a new series called 'Documentation', which mainly consisted of newspaper articles, as they called them: "documents", collected around a particular topic, issue, event, film, book or periodical.
