Scope and content

Contains newspaper clippings, periodicals, and various publications.

This series focuses on press reactions and analyses on the 1956 Hungarian Revolution from all over the world. Most numerous are clippings from the communist and émigré Hungarian press and the English and German language press respectively. But comments and official reactions from the other communist countries and some Far East and Latin American countries are also included.
