The common denominator among the videos was transcript numbers. The IHRLI sent many of the videos to a center that created transcripts, several of which include still images from the videos. Primarily only English language productions were transcribed. The videos are arranged by transcript numbers (the transcripts themselves can be found in Series 15).
OSA staff assigned transcript numbers to those videos that were not transcribed.Scope and content
252 different news reports, broadcasts, documentary and propaganda films on the war in the former Yugoslavia produced by local and Western media. The films provide special insights into inter-ethnic conflicts and the emergence of hatred amongst the nations of the former Yugoslavia.
Films are from: Austria, Australia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, the United States and the former Yugoslavia.Accruals Not expected
