  1. The White Sea Channel (propaganda film)
    "In order to strengthen the economical connections between the republics of the Soviet Union, Moscow has to be a port of five seas. Therefore the Party, with the directives of Stalin, decided to build a canal that connects the Baltic and the White Seas. " A special insight into the lives of the Soviet forced labour camps.

    Solovki (Labour camps in Solovki, 1927-28) (propaganda film)
    Soviet film that represents the life in Solovki as if wasn't a forced labour camp but a sanatorium. The Solovetsky Islands were the site of the first Soviet forced labour camps, the SLON (Solovetsky special purpose camp), which held mostly political prisoners. The camp functioned from 1923 to 1939.

    The Forgotten Holocaust. The Gipsy Holocaust (documentary film)
    Between 1939 and 1945 more than 250 thousand of Europian Gipsies were rounded up and deported to ghettos and concentration camps where they were gased or starved to death. This is the Gipsy Holocaust and like its Jewish counterpart effected almost every country in Europe. The film investigates the survivors. Lots of archival footage from the 1940s.
