Scope and content

Records of the Private Photo and Film Foundation at the Open Society Archives are video copies of Hungarian home movies (amateur films shot on 8, super 8 and 9.5 mm), collected by Péter Forgács.
The fonds also contains audio interviews with the family members of the moviemakers.
A basic inventory to the home movies and documentary films directed by Péter Forgács, based on amateur films, and a huge collection of private photographic prints also form part of the fonds.
