Scope and content

The series contains manuscripts and correspondence related to the publication of texts. It contains articles and other publications of Béla Király as well as the works of other authors, either those were in contact with ARP, or were affiliated in a conference or research organised and managed by Béla Király in his role of professor at Brooklyn College. The sub-series contains important and interesting documents relating to Hungarian dissident and émigré authors from the late 1980s - early 1990s (János Kis, Péter Kende, Imre Kovács, István Bibó, Sándor Szilágyi, Imre Halász, Imre Nagy) and prominent Hungarian scholars like Mária Ormos and Hanák Péter.
