The materials were transferred from the OSI-Budapest Records Center to OSA among other board materials. Content was rearranged into fonds, subfonds, and series.

Immediate source of acquisition or transfer

Donation (Soros records) of the Open Society Institute–Budapest. Materials were transferred from the OSI-Budapest Records Center to OSA in July 2008. Accession number: 208/2009-2.

Scope and content

The subfonds consists of records related to the activities of the governing bodies of the Open Society Initiative for West Africa. It includes meeting minutes, meeting and background materials, as well as correspondence of the Executive Office.
