Scope and content
This series consists of files relating to missing individuals who have been identified by the Podrinje Identification Project. The project operated by comparing ante-mortem data collected from relatives of the missing and comparing it to evidence gleaned from the human remains and their associated clothing and documentation. In many cases the identification of clothing or documents on the remains was sufficient to provide a positive identification. In other cases more detailed analysis needed to be conducted, including DNA analysis, before a positive match could be obtained.
The files contain such information as autopsy reports, photocopies of clothing and documentation found on the bodies and details of interviews conducted with relatives of the missing.Accruals Not expected
