Scope and content

This series contains István György Tóth's research notes and copies of archival sources relating to church history. For more than a decade, he has studied the missionary work of the Catholic Church in the 16-18th century Hungary. An important result of the project was the collection and critical edition of the correspondence of missionaries working in Hungary, as well as of their reports sent to Rome. Tóth published numerous articles and studies on this topic.
