Classic and rare fiction and nonfiction works, among them documentary, propaganda, educational films are to serve researchers of Soviet and East European history and culture, particularly of the Cold War, Communism, and totalitarianism; human rights and war crimes.
The material comes from various sources: public vendors, individual donors, national film and television archives. Some of the films have English subtitles, others are available only in their original languages.
The OSA Film Library is an open access non-circulating library, open Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Please see getting there
