Zbigniew Gluza is a scholar, writer, journalist, and a public figure in Poland. 'In the '80s he was the editor of the well-known samizdat periodical 'Karta'. He was also among the founder- members of Karta Foundation and Karta Center Research Institute in Warsaw. Michael Ignatieff is a scholar, writer, journalist, human rights activist and a public figure. He was a scholar at King`s College in Cambridge. He published novels, wrote books on vital human rights issues. He is the author of the official biography of Isaiah Berlin. Mr. Ignatieff is a frequent contributor to the New York Review of Books, and has just been named the director of the Human Rights Institute at Harvard.
