The organizers of the demonstration outside the Hungarian Parliament from November 24 – December 1, 2018, invite all to participate in their open lectures, musical performances, and cultural events.
"At the conclusion of 24 November Tüntetés a Tudomány és az Oktatás Szabadságáért, we will remain on Kossuth Square. Throughout the next week we will occupy the heart of Hungarian political power, showing Orbán and Fidesz that our coalition is committed to freedom of thought and education in this country. Whether we leave or stay we remain committed to Hungary."
To show its commitment to protecting academic freedom and to express solidarity with the organizers, Blinken OSA’s faculty and staff, as well as the students they teach and work with, attend the open public lectures, and actively participate in organizing other events, such as film screenings and guided historical tours.
Live broadcasts, videos and a list of events is available on the group's Facebook page.
