This is the official web-page of the Support for Research on Recent
History Project (SRRHP), a research support scheme initiated by George Soros
and maintained by the Open Society Archives and Central European University.
The project has been set up in order to support research related to
the history of communism and the representation of the inter-war period
in the historiography of the communist regimes. It mission is not strictly
limited to historical studies, but to works on history of art, history of
science, legal history, historical anthropology, etc.
Individuals and research teams are encouraged to submit proposals
that will be reviewed by the Projects Research Board.
