Daily news broadcasts, that document everyday political events as portrayed by the governmnet-controlled Serbian media. The programs are approximately 30 minutes in length and include reports of the headlines, world politics, internal politics, economics, culture, sport, weather report and commercials.
Special political programs and reports of Television BK and Television Politika are also included.
Some of the highlights of this acquisition include Slobodan Milosevic's speeches throughout the years, the students protests of 1996-97, the rise of the Kosovo crysis, and the programs aired during the 78-day of NATO bombings in spring 1999, including President Milosevic's announcement of the beginning of the war; and his declaration of "victory".

Daily news broadcasts, documenting everyday political events as portrayed by the media of the three cantons of Bosnia-Herzegovina: TV BIH, TV Srpska and NTV 99.
The programs are approximately 30 minutes in length and include reports on headline news, world politics, internal politics, economics, culture, sport, weather report and commercials.
Special political programs and reports of Zetel Zenica, Hayat TV and TV IN are also included.
Some of the highlights of this acquisition include an interview with Zoran Dindic, President of the Serbian Democratic Party (July 1996), an interview with Vojislav Seselj, President of the Serb Radical Party (September 1996), speeches by Alija Izetbegovic, President of Bosnia-Herzegovina and programs about post-war reconstruction and the return of refugees.

The cassettes also contain historical recordings relating to the local governmental elections in 1997; speeches and parades held at President Franjo Tudjman's 75th birthday celebrations, and the Independence Day commemoration ceremony in 1997.

Series 1 'Balkan Archive'
The 'Balkan Archives', the most significant part of the collection, comprises more than 3,000 hours of Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, English, American, German and other Western news programs, television reports, propaganda films and documentaries about the most tragic events of the Balkan Wars in the 1990s. These films have been used as evidence by the Hague Tribunal during its investigations of war crimes committed in the former Yugoslavia. At the same time, the Balkan Archives incorporate film of the trial proceedings themselves.
