Very useful auxiliary material

91 transcripts of interviews made in conjunction with Hungarian home movies (see archival series HU OSA 320-1-2 and HU OSA 320-1-3) in which the home movie makers or their families talk about the families, persons, surroundings appearing in the moving images, giving a rare, intimate insight into early 20th century life. These oral histories help see how big history – nationalization, forced relocation, persecution of Jews, world wars – influence the lives of people at the family or personal level. The transcripts are an extremely useful tool to search for and collect information in these histories. https://catalog.osaarchivum.org/catalog/jwZmM9lk#findingaids
