CfA for the Visegrad Scholarship at OSA in AY 2023/24 is open!
In the context of Russia’s ongoing war of aggression against f Ukraine, many analysts have claimed that we face the real end of (or the confirmation) of the Cold War and its dichotomies. We invite historians, researchers, political scientists, sociologists, and socially engaged artists, to do research at the Blinken OSA Archivum in Budapest, Hungary, and reflect on the Lessons from the Cold War by taking cues from the Archivum’s holdings. Applicants are encouraged to address the connections as well as the differences between current times and the past, linking contemporary epistemic and political crises to past modes of inquiry and activism.

Scholars at risk from war zones as well as refugees of conscience (scholars fleeing authoritarian regimes) are especially invited to apply.
