Robert Parnica

Senior Reference Archivist

Robert joined OSA in 1997. His primary task has been supervising the Reference Services, which entails the daily operation of the Research Room where he serves as liaison between the international academic public and valuable archival collections. In addition to this, Robert is involved in various processing and digitizing projects in the Archives. He graduated in history and archeology from the University of Zagreb, and completed an MA in History at Central European University, where he also earned an MPhil in Comparative History of South East Europe from the History Department. Recently, he earned an MA in International Relations from Budapest Corvinus University. He is interested in the recent social, political, and diplomatic history of Balkans and Central Europe but is also passionate about late antique and early medieval archeology. He enjoys ancient geographical and historical maps and architectonic/urban reconstructions.
