A szabadegyetem 1983-as szegedi előadásairól Jankó Attila jóvoltából hangfelvételek készültek, amelyek alapján ma elolvashatók az 1980-as évek ellenzéki politikai és szellemi ellenkultúrájának eme páratlan dokumentumai.

A sorozat első programja 2014. január 23-án, csütörtökön 18 órakor lesz Az önkényes döntések nagyon hosszú távú hatásai címmel az Arany János utca 32. szám alatti Goldberger házban. Megnyitót mond Antal Dániel, a Candole Partners (Hollandia) tanácsadója, a program második felében levetítjük Az örökkévalóságigcímű, dán-finn-svéd-olasz dokumentumfilmet (75 perc, 2010) finn nyelven, magyar felirattal. /// OSA Archivum is holding a film screening and debate series, The Reactive Citizen, on the planned expansion of the Paks nuclear power plant and its consequences, a decision that affects us all, but which was taken without any form of consultation. The first event in The Reactive Citizen series will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 6 pm in the Goldberger House at 32 Arany János Street, and is entitled The very long-term consequences of arbitrary decisions. The opening Hungarian-language address will be given by Dániel Antal, consultant at Candole Partners (Netherlands). In the second part of the program, we will screen the 2010 Danish-Finnish-Swedish-Italian documentary film Into Eternity (75 minutes), with Hungarian subtitles.




 
OSA Starts Human Rights Documentation Internship Program

Karácsony előtt, december 17-én, konferenciát rendezünk Stadiont vagy fedelet címmel, amelyre várjuk az érintettek, a hozzáértők, a segíteni tudó, realista szakértők közreműködését. A párbeszéd reményében, a rendezvényre meghívjuk a kormány és a város embereit is. A konferencia részletes programja az oldal aljáról letölthető.

We are organizing a conference for December 17 titled Stadium or Shelter, and invite contributions from those affected, those who understand the problems, and professionals who can help. In the hope of dialog, we will also invite representatives of the government and the city of Budapest to the conference. Please note that the conference will take place in Hungarian.

The subject of the “False Testimony” exhibition is the Tiszaeszlár Trial of 1883, which was closely interwoven with the birth of modern antisemitism in Hungary. The photographs, videos and objects in the exhibition examine individual and collective memory and identity, the processes of psychological and cultural acquisition, and the learning of antisemitic witness and national martyrology.

OSA has signed a Public Archive Agreement with the Office of the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina (OHR), according to which OSA will preserve and publish online the public documents created and maintained by OHR during their activities since 1996.

OSA presents András Szirtes's Film Diary 1979-2004: In search of exposition lost. Opening on September 10, the exhibition at Galeria Centralis presents the films,  drawing sketches, written notes and images selected by experimental filmmaker András Szirtes, who has been making films since the late 1960s. For the duration of the exhibition, Szirtes's films will be screened every evening from 7 pm with the active participation of the filmmaker.
